A MAN who sparked a police search after vanishing from Doncaster Royal Infirmary has been found, police said this lunchtime.
Xinguan Zheng was found in Rossington after a member of the public called the police.
A police spokesman said Mr Zheng had been taken back to Doncaster Royal Infirmary for treatment to his head injury.
POLICE have launched a search to trace a patient who has gone missing from Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Xinguan Zheng, went missing at around 9.40pm yesterday, and was last seen heading along Armthorpe Road towards Armthorpe.
The 46-year-old suffered a serious head injury. His injury is likely to make him appear confused, and he needs urgent hospital treatment, police say.
Mr Zheng is described as Chinese, around 5ft 7ins tall, slim, with short, black hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a white hospital pyjama top, white hospital stockings and was carrying a blue hospital blanket, which he sometimes wraps around his head and neck.
Residents are being urged to look out for him and householders are asked to check their gardens for any sightings.
