Doncaster woman sexually assaulted in broad daylight

Officers have launched a witness appeal, after a woman in her 50s was reportedly sexually assaulted in an area of Doncaster woodland this morning.

The reported sexual assault occurred in woodland off Hungerhill Road, Edenthorpe at around 10.30am. The suspect is described as being white, of large build with a balding head.

He is reported to have weathered skin and is aged between 50 and 60 years old.

Police are currently in the area carrying out enquiries at the scene.

The victim is with police and is being supported by specially-trained officers.
