Burglars have stolen thousands of pounds worth of goods from Doncaster schools in a three-week crime spree.
Police said as many as 10 schools have been targeted in Edlington, Bawtry and Armthorpe which has seen scores of laptop computers and petty cash collections taken. Three men have been arrested in connection with the incidents.
Temporary chief inspector Jade Brice said: “On each occasion they have broken in late at night or early in the morning.
“We don’t have an exact figure but thousands of pounds worth of goods have been taken.
“Enquiries are still on going. I would urge anyone with information about any of the alleged break-ins to contact police.”
Two Intake men, aged 30 and 33, and a 34-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of burglary.
