Doncaster man arrested following high-speed police chase

A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, after being pursued by officers through a Doncaster town in a dramatic high-speed chase that led on to the motorway.
Police were called at around 10.30am yesterday morning to reports a vehicle was driving dangerously in the Sprotbrough area.

A number of police resources became engaged in the pursuit of the vehicle, a blue Land Rover, which lead onto the A1M southbound carriageway.

There were several minor collisions involving the Land Rover and other vehicles during the course of the pursuit, including two police cars.

Nobody is reported to have been injured.

A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving over the prescribed limit, theft of a motor vehicle, failing to stop and dangerous driving.
