Doncaster dad attacked by dog

A 25-year-old man has been bitten by a dog at playing fields in Conisbrough.

The man was walking his dog with his daughter on the playing field next to Pennine View school in Old Road, Conisbrough where he was bitten by a grey boxer type dog.

It is alleged that the dog bit the man’s hand causing puncture wounds that required hospital treatment.

The dog was not on its lead and is understood to belong to an unknown woman who approached from the direction of Chesnut Grove.

The woman is described as being white, of slim build, between 5ft 4ins and 5ft 8ins tall, with short blonde hair. She is described as wearing a black hooded top with a black shirt and black trousers.

Police are appealing for more information on this incident, which occurred at around 3.30pm on September 2.
