Doncaster crime round-up, May 25, spate of burglaries

The following crimes were reported on May 23 to 25. Anyone with information contact South Yorkshire Police on 101.

Wheatley: A mobile phone was taken from a home in Exeter Road between 8am and midday on Saturday after the home owner left the front door unlocked.

Rossington: Electrical equipment, including a computer and computer games were stolen from a property in Tudour Street between 5pm and 6.30pm on Saturday. The burglars forced entry through the back door of the home.

Town Moor: An attempted burglary took place at Windsor Road between 9am Friday and 8am Saturday. Burglars tried to force the back door of the property open but did not manage to gain entry.

Cusworth: A man disturbed two males who were trying to break into his shed at 1.30am on Sunday. The suspects are described as 5ft, 11, white, heavy build aged around 28. The other is described as a 6ft, 5, black man with shoulder length curly hair, aged around 28. Nothing was stolen in the incident.

Cusworth: A £600 petrol lawn mower and garden tools were among items stolen from a shed in Grove Avenue between Friday 11pm and Saturday 8.20am.

Mexborough: Two pedal cycles were stolen from a garden at Conway Terrace between 11am on Friday and 5pm on Saturday,

Dunscroft: A £500 mobile phone was stolen from the Tanning Boutique in Abbey Road after the owner left it on a chair in the salon. The incident happened between 5pm and 6pm on Friday.
