Cantley: Another solar light has been reported as stolen from a child’s grave at Rose Hill Cemetery. The latest incident happened on Saturday night. Police are wanted to speak to a group of youths which was reported as being in the cemetery at around midnight.
Wheatley: Burglars forced a door on Thorne Road on Sunday afternoon. Cash was stolen in the raid.
Edenthorpe: Thieves broke into the Toby Carvery on Lyndale Avenue and stole cash from a gaming machine. They had forced a window to get inside. The incident happened between 11.30pm Saturday and 7am Sunday.
Wheatley: Raiders smashed a window to get inside the Cumberland pub on Thorne Road, and stole money from two gaming machines inside. The break-in was at around 1.15am on Sunday.
Balby: Burglars broke into a Pizza Hut restaurant on Plantation Way, Balby in the early hours of today (Monday). They stole cash from the site.
Bentley: Children’s clothing was stolen from washing lines at two different addresses on Swan Street on Saturday night. One of the incidents was at 8pm on the Saturday evening, the other was discovered at 7.30am on Sunday morning.
Bentley: An 81-year-old man has been left without his mobility scooter, after it was stolen from his garden at his home on Moat Hills Court. The theft was between 7.30pm on Saturday and 10.30am on Sunday.
Bentley: A lawn mower was stolen from a garden shed on The Avenue. The shed was described as unsecured and the theft was between Saturday at 10pm and midday on Sunday.
Lakeside: Two vehicles were reported as damaged at the Dome on Sunday. A black Kia Pecanto and a red Hyundai Getz were damaged between 11.30am and 2.30pm on Sunday. Police believe someone had tried to get in by forcing the locks.
Sunnyfields: Two men have been arrested after an alleged burglary at a house on Roseday Avenue. Police have recovered property which was reported as taken from address in the early hours of today (Monday.)
