A Conisbrough pensioner had £100 stolen by a thief posing as a door-to-door salesman.
The man called at the 89-year-old woman’s home at Wortley Avenue at 11.30am yesterday, January 7, selling household goods.

The man is described as white, skinny and gaunt-looking. He is around 30 years old and was wearing a black jacket and trousers and carrying a medium-sized, black holdall.
Any witnesses or anyone with information is urged to call South Yorkshire Police on: 101 and quote incident number 371 of January 7.
