Arsonists have destroyed a building in Rossington, Doncaster, used to store children’s play equipment.

They struck at around 3am today at premises near St Michael’s Church on Sheep Bridge Lane.

Doncaster fire crews were called and spent almost an hour putting out the flames, which gutted the portable cabin and burned the children’s toys.

It was well alight when the firefighters arrived and a spokesman said it was started deliberately.
