Burglar nets jewels in Balby raid

Police are renewing appeals for people to take a new look at their security after a burglar struck gold at Wellingley Road, Balby.

The culprit snapped a euro lock to enter a house sometime between 8.15am and 3pm yesterday, January 7.

They searched the first floor rooms before escaping with Bvlgari glasses that have square jewels on the arms, diamond stud earrings, a diamond band ring, jewellery box, half soverign ring, loop earrings with diamonds, a wedding ring with ten diamonds, two gentleman’s watches and a fake Louis Vuitton purse containing £324 worth of euros.

Any witness or anyone with information should contact South Yorkshire Police on: 101 and quote incident number 580 of 7 January.
