Baby monitors stolen in Doncaster retail park burglary

A number of baby monitors have been stolen during a burglary at a Doncaster branch of Mothercare

Officers were alerted to the break at Mothercare on York Road at Danum Retail Park at around 11pm on Sunday, January 18. 
It is reported that a man wearing a navy jacket with a fur hood, dark gloves and carrying a Morrisons bag for life, gained entry at the rear of the store and stole a number of Tommy Tippee and Angel Care monitors.

PC Gary Burton, of Adwick Police Station, said: “We believe that the offender is likely to be local and the items may be offered for sale in the local area.

“We ask that anyone who is offered a baby monitor matching the above description or has any information about the burglary to contact the police on 101 quoting incident number 1103 of January 18, 2015.

“Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
