POLICE have launched an investigation to trace a man missing from home for nearly two weeks.
Officers say they are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Alan Wild who has recently received hospital treatment for back and chest pain, for which he also requires medication.
Mr Wild, 57, was last seen leaving his supported accommodation in Hexthorpe, at around 9pm on Tuesday, June 28.
He is approximately 5ft 9ins tall and slim. He had short grey hair, was clean shaven and was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, blue jeans and a light blue denim jacket with a silver crucifix necklace.
Mr Wild has been known to travel all over the country and has recent connections to West Yorkshire.
