Doncaster police are appealing for help to trace a stolen van containing a large quantity of rat poison.
The red LDV Pilot van, which has the registration plate BX05 JDO, was stolen from the village of Sutton, near Doncaster, just before 8pm last Wednesday.
It contained seven to eight kilograms of hazardous, three-inch-long waxed pellets, some of which were blue and some pinky-red, but all corrugated in appearance. The pellets were in tubs marked `poison’.
The van, similar to the one pictured, also contained a number of tools.
Despite a widespread search, officers have so far been unable to trace the van and are now turning to the public for help.
Anyone who has seen the vehicle or its contents is urged to contact South Yorkshire Police immediately on 101 and quote incident number 1023 of January 8.
