81-year-old robbed by gang in Tickhill

An 81-year-old woman was robbed by a group of teenagers in Tickhill.

At around 2.45pm on Monday 21 July, it is reported that the woman was walking near to the Tickhill duck pond when three teenage boys on bicycles approached. One of the boys had a teenage girl with him on his bicycle.

It is alleged that one of the teens grabbed the woman’s handbag before riding off.

The teenager is described as being a white male, around 5ft 2ins tall with blonde medium length hair, of skinny build. He is believed to be between 14 and 16-years-old, was wearing a white polo shirt and reportedly smoking at the time of the incident.

It is also reported that he had an orange water bottle attached to his bicycle.

The other teens are believed to be of similar age.

Eyewitnesses report seeing the same group throwing stones in the duck pond prior to the incident.
