A CHILD rapist who got a teenager and her mother pregnant within weeks of each other has been locked up for 15 years.

The paedophile started his campaign of abuse against his vulnerable victim soon after moving into the family home in Conisbrough before going on to rob the girl of her childhood. He even left his partner’s bed to watch porn and abuse the girl while her mum slept upstairs, got the child to miss school so they could have baths together and sex and also abused his victim’s friend, a court heard.

During her pregnancy the girl was subjected to continued abuse and her attacker threatened to throw her down the stairs. He even told the then teenager that her mum would kill herself if she ever found out the truth.

When his offending came to light the mum tried to throw him out of the home, but he refused to leave until the girl had saved £500 for him to go.

The Times has decided not to name the attacker to protect the victim, who is now in her 20s, and who is bringing up her child with the support of her mother, who is also raising her child.

A victim statement read out to Doncaster Crown Court said: “There is not a day goes by when I do not think about the hell he put me through - he is an evil and vindictive man.

“He took my innocence, naivety and vulnerability and used them against me for his own desires.

“When I look back at my childhood it is just him hitting me, raping me and abusing me.”

She also talked of her pain at one day having to tell her child that the person she thought was her cousin is actually also her aunt - and having to admit the catalogue of abuse which led to the pregnancy. The man, 41, pleaded guilty to four counts of rape, eight sexual assaults against the girl and a further two counts of abuse against her best friend.

The court heard that the man moved in with his partner when her daughter was eight and started to kiss her. When aged nine the victim was asked if she was having sex and the attacker demanded proof she was a virgin.

On another occasion he asked if she knew how to perform a sex act before showing her.

As she grew older he repeatedly told her he loved her, wanted to run away with her and wanted to marry her when she turned 17.

The court heard he groomed the girl by causing arguments between her and her mother and then forced her to have full sex with him at the age of 13 - an experience she cried through.

After raping the child he even told her that she would be the one to end up hurting him one day when she was older.

Sentencing him, the judge, Mr Recorder James Hill QC, said: “This is an appalling catalogue of offending of girls between nine and 15.

“This was a girl who trusted you and who you betrayed in the worst possible way - I am sure she is scarred for the rest of her life.”

He was also placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register and banned from working with children and vulnerable adults.
