YOUNGSTERS from a Doncaster school really were sky-high after receiving a flying visit from a helicopter.

The children at Adwick Washington Infant School, in Welfare Road, Woodlands, were treated to a day they will never forget when staff invited aviation firm Heli-Wise for a exciting alternative to their usual class photographs.

Classes had their pictures taken with the aircraft to go alongside aerial shots of the school in a special souvenir booklet.

Helicopter staff also gave a fascinating outdoor lesson about the aircraft.
