CONSULTATION sessions are set to be held next month over plans to change service for elderly people and vulnerable adults in Doncaster.

Doncaster Council’s Adult Services department will hold sessions following the setting of the council’s budget for 2013/14 financial year.

Three events are being held, which will give people a chance to complete a questionnaire to offer their opinion on the changes and ask questions.

They are being held at Stirling Centre on April 8, Hayfield Social Education Centre on April 10, Adwick Social Education Centre on April 12 and the Mexborough Day Centre on April 15. All the events start at 5.30pm

People are being asked for their opinions on the changes in service areas including transport services, community care centres, Doncaster Council run day centres and respite services, fees, charges and subsidies.

People wanting to give their views can complete an online survey at www.doncaster.gov.uk/asc, call on 01302 736000 between 8am and 6pm, attend one of the consultation events or visit a day centres to complete a questionnaire.
