Comedian Jimmy Cricket will be issuing the cry of ‘come ‘ere’ when he offically opens a Doncaster garden party next month.
The Irish stand-up star, famed for his 80s routine which saw him sporting his wellies on the wrong feet and beginning zany tales with the phrase ‘come ‘ere, there’s more’ will open the event which will be held in aid of dementia and Alzheimer’s charities on July 4.
The event will take place between 11am and 4pm at 51 Middlefield Road, Bessacarr.
There will be events and attractions plus tea, coffee, cold drinks and other refreshments.
There will also be a tombola, raffle and a children’s corner with toys and books.
Other entertainers and performers will help add a touch of humour on the day.
