A SLIPPERY customer has brought customers flocking to a pet shop.

For The Pet Stop shop has acquired a rather large addition to its amazing array of animals - an eight foot Burmese python.

Snake owner Gage Lyons, 19, scaled scores of places to get his hands on the impressive creature and fell in love with the brightly coloured python after seeing her for sale online.

Named Hissy for her non-stop noises, the Balby shop’s newest resident could eventually grow to a massive 25 feet.

Gage, of Belle Vue, also has quite a collection of his own including bearded dragons and a boa constrictor which he keeps at the shop in Balby Road.

The pet shop worker is also studying a course in exotic reptiles at Barnsley College and wants to take Hissy to schools across Doncaster and do educational talks.
