Church service

THE Salvation Army in Wath is urging people to get stuck into something messy - Messy Church.

Lieutenant Catherine Dodd is launching new alternative ways of worship aimed at families who may not do ‘traditional church’.

She said: “It is a fun, high energy meeting place to draw people together, based around storytelling, music, creative craft, games, puppets and free food and drinks.”

The first Messy Church takes place at the hall in West Street on Sunday, December 11, at 10.30am.
