A FUNDRAISER held to help a little boy who suffers from a rare epileptic disorder raised nearly £3,000.

Brave Jack Kitching, eight, each day battles a debilitating condition condition West Syndrome which causes spasms.

Katie Gismondi, a family friend of Jack’s mum Joanne Hardisty, decided to hold a fundraiser in honour of the Scawthorpe youngster in order to help pay for equipment to aid his development such as hoists to use in his home in Petersgate.

She organised a charity auction and evening of entertainment at Owston Park Lodge which raised £2,872.

Katie would like to thank everyone who supported the cause.
