Are you a kitchen connoisseur?
Can you dish up a superb starter, mouthwatering main and delicious dessert?
Then you have a chance to appear on the popular TV show Come Dine With Me.
The film crew are heading to the region next month and are now on the look-out for people who think they can serve up a prize-winning three-course meal, with £1,000 cash up for grabs.
Now in its 14th series, the show is returning to Doncaster and the producers would like to hear from anyone wishing to take part.
Spokesman Isabel Williams said: “We want to hear from you.
“We’re after anyone over 18 who loves cooking and meeting new people – as well as winning money!”
Previous South Yorkshire contestants have included chip shop boss Martyn Bilby, tailor Dan Churchill and Sheffield music promoter Paul Wood.
Martyn, who gave the world the deep fried mince pie, steered clear of the frier to throw his hat in the ring when he took part in the show in 2011.
The 45-year-old, from Cusworth, lined up against amusement arcade machine company owner Barry Hill, from Harlington, insurance worker Zoe Prince, from Bessacarr, trading standards officer Tracey Hewer from Cantley and Latvian lecturer Signe Jase, from the town centre.
Dan, from Tickhill, who runs Churchill’s Tailors on Market Place, competed in 2009.
Paul hosted a 1920s-themed dinner party with ambitious dishes such as venison in red wine with root vegetables.
He explained how he got involved: “My mates from work sent in an application for me without telling me.
“One of the lads was getting married and they wanted to try and get me to win some money to help pay for the wedding.
“I did win the £1,000 and gave it to him.”
And what is the art of winning?
Paul said: “You need to have one or two surprises up your sleeve – don’t reveal everything on the first night.
“I turned up one night dressed as Al Capone.
“You need to give a few shocks and get them on- side.”
Anyone interested in getting involved should email the area they live in and phone number to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
Filming will take place from February 21 to February 26.
