THE British Jet Ski Championships are coming to Doncaster this weekend.

The third round of the competition will be running at Lakeside on Saturday and Sunday, with Doncaster jet ski riders Matt and Joe Edwards taking part.

The pair have both been Junior World Champions in the past and have said they are both thrilled to be competing on their home patch in front of family and friends.

Mayor of Doncaster, Peter Davies, said: “Hosting the British Jet Ski Championships at Lakeside is a real coup for Doncaster and is another quality event that puts the town on the tourism map.

“Anyone who enjoys thrilling racing action should go along to Lakeside.”

Racing will start from 10am on both days. Admission is free for spectators and parking is available at the Keepmoat stadium.
