Full Monty for Scan for Life

A FESTIVE performance of The Full Monty is coming to Doncaster as the Scan For Life fundraising continues into the Christmas period.

The Broadway Hotel in Dunscroft has announced that five brave local lads will take to the stage on Saturday, December 20, to perform the routine made famous by the 1997 movie set in Sheffield.

The charity concert, starting at 8pm, will also feature supporting group Stilcrazy.

Tickets are on sale now from the Broadway Hotel priced at 2, which includes a raffle ticket.

All money raised will go towards the Free Press' Scan For Life appeal - launched in July to raise 600,000 to buy a new cancer scanner for Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

Anyone organising a Scan For Life fundraising event should contact campaign reporter Paul Goodwin on (01302) 347260.

n Donations to the appeal can be made by visiting the Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust at 4 East Laith Gate, Doncaster, with cheques made payable to 'Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust'.

Funds may also be paid directly into the campaign account: Co-operative Bank, account number 50326679.

For more information about the DCDT contact 01302 349177.
