BUSINess brains put their knowledge to the test to vie for a quiz title and raise money for a local good cause.

More than 100 people turned out to support the second annual Yorkshire Bank Charity Quiz which saw a team from Crozier Jones Accountants claim the winner’s trophy.

The event at The Local bar and bistro earlier this month raised more than £1,200 for the Aurora Centre which offers free beauty and complementary therapies to cancer patients and their carers.

Neil Bradburne, managing partner at Doncaster’s Yorkshire Bank Financial Solutions Centre, described the evening as a `roaring success’ and thanked all those who attended, donated raffle prizes and supported a silent auction. “Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you next year,” he added.
