SUPERMARKET giant Morrisons has opened a new branch in the borough.

The Bradford-based chain has taken over the former Netto store in Armthorpe following after rival Asda was ordered to sell some of the Danish company’s stores following the completion of its £778 million acquisition of the firm.

The Church Street store re-opened yesterday as a Morrisons.
