THE former Netto store on the High Street in Carcroft has been sold to the Haldane Retail Group and is set to be rebranded as a new discount store, UGO.
The store continues to trade as usual but will close at noon on Saturday for refurbishment and will re-open to shoppers on Monday, May 2 at 8am.
Shoppers can expect an extended range of branded food and drink goods, a new health and beauty range, a wider range of news and magazines, additional space for beers, wines and spirits as well as deals on non-food items for the home and garden.
Manager Darrel Bush manager said: “I can’t wait to welcome all of our loyal shoppers and see some new faces when we open on 2nd May. The entire team is very excited about this new chapter in the store’s history.”
All the former Netto employees have been retained.
