North Doncaster Development Trust (NDDT) has appointed a new business development manager to join its growing team.

New recruit Rebecca Hughes previously worked for QED Consulting for more than five years where she was responsible for marketing and developing the business. She has written successful tenders for various sectors and set up her own marketing communications business.

Rebecca said she was looking forward to the challenges of her new role and would use and build on her existing skills to make a positive impact.

Michael Haughton, NDDT’s chief executive, commented: “I am very happy to welcome Rebecca to the team. With her previous experience I am confident she will be a great asset to the trust, assisting us to continue to grow and deliver sustainable regeneration projects within the communities of Doncaster.”

NDDT was established in 2002 to help reduce levels of deprivation and to assist in the economic, social and environmental regeneration of the area. It has aims to promote health and well-being, accessible learning and economic opportunities. It now employs more than 50 people on a wide range of projects and contracts and has a turnover of £2.7 million.
