LAWYERS from a Doncaster firm were treated to a day on a yacht as a reward for their work protecting companies from employment disputes.
Solicitors Sarah Naylor and Janine Lawton, who head up the employment department at Atherton Godfrey, on Hallgate, were treated to a day aboard a yacht sailing from Gosport to the Isle of Wight.
The event, organised by Temple Legal Protection, was in recognition of the hard work they put into a scheme which is designed to help businesses minimise the potential for employment disputes and their consequences.
A spokesman for the firm said a successful claim against a business can be extremely damaging.
Last year, unfair dismissal awards were up to £234,549 whilst the largest award for disability discrimination was £729,347.
