Internal promotions at a leading law firm have included six employees rising to partner status.

Mid-tier firm Shakespeare Martineau promoted 33 staff in the last year.

New partners are: Peter Dilks, Paul Wakefield, Garry Dickinson, Neil Budd, Kim Hawkins and Suzanne Leggott.

The firm develops staff through schemes such as The Shakespeare Martineau Academy, which allows new recruits to set out a clear path of progression.

Garry Dickinson said: “I started as an associate four years ago and my career has progressed through the firm’s development schemes, which has led to my recent appointment.”
