Business in Doncaster is to be given a boost thanks to the sale of a 24-acre development that has been in receivership for 18 months.
Two Doncaster businessman, calling themselves J3 LLP, have taken on the site formerly known as Wright Business Park at Balby Carr Bank with plans to relaunch it as J3 Business Park.
The development has 20 vacant sites currently available for small and medium sized businesses.
Doncaster Chamber is welcoming the sale that could lead to new investment in the borough.
Matthew Brouwer of Barnsdales Chartered Surveyors, representing J3 LLP said the development would offer good value for money to businesses.
He added: “The location is second to none and the site represents a significant opportunity for smaller to mid-size businesses seeking good value space with 1,000 sq ft starter units at just £100 per week.
“J3 LLP are two local businessmen with a strong track record in industrial property and are looking forward to re-establishing the site as one of the major industrial estates in Doncaster and the region. It will be re-branded as ‘J3 Business Park’ which portrays the close proximity to the M18 junction.”

J3 LLP exchanged contracts to purchase the site last week.
The business park, Situated off the A6182 which leads onto the M18 Junction 3, had been in the hands of receivers for over 18 months since the collapse of Anglo Irish Bank.
