A South Yorkshire-based public relations and media training firm has welcomed a new member of staff to their team.
Michelle Tyma has joined Capital B Media in Millhouse Green, near Barnsley, as an admin executive.
The 33-year-old, is a graduate of Leeds Metropolitan University and is returning to work after nine months’ maternity leave.
The Penistone mum, who has a multimedia technology degree and extensive background in office administration, said she is looking forward to putting her skills to good use in her new role.
She added: “I am so pleased to be given the opportunity to work for such a reputable and professional company, in such a beautiful location.”
The company’s clients include the Care Quality Commission (CQC), South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire fire services, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire police forces, the Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham, Enterprising Barnsley and Acorn Brewery.
The new post has been created to meet an increase in demand for the company’s services after they signed up eight new clients since the start of 2015.
Company director Kate Betts said: “It’s great to have Michelle on board to assist with administrative tasks, and her extensive knowledge and background means she’s already implementing some ideas at the company which are making us work more efficiently.”
