Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) chairman Madeleine Keyworth and chief executive Christine Boswell welcomed delegates to the annual conference of the RDaSH User Carer Partnership Council Annual Conference at Heslam Park Rugby Club last Friday.
The theme of the conference was ‘quality’ and the programme included talks from service users, carers, RDaSH staff and partner organisations including Scunthorpe & District Mind and the Doncaster Personalisation Forum Group (PFG). The North Lincolnshire service user-led drumming group Crimson Thunder provided the entertainment.
RDaSH chief executive Christine Boswell said: “We hold the conference on or around World Mental Health Day (10 October) every year to put the spotlight on mental health and wellbeing.”
She added: “We were delighted that so many service users and carers from North Lincolnshire, Doncaster and Rotherham joined us for the event, as our aim is to maximise their involvement in all of the Trust’s activities and ensure this leads to meaningful improvements in meeting their needs.”
