Dearne IT learners will benefit from new equipment and software following the relaunch of a community incentive.
The Dearne Electronic Community Village, based at Thurnscoe Library, has benefited from a £10,000 cash injection, administered by the GMB trade union.
The scheme provides free IT courses along with help with maths, English and job-searching and applications.
Dearne MP John Healey cut the ribbon at a ceremony also attended by GMB regional secretary Tim Roache.
Mr Healey said: “Tutors and volunteers have worked tirelessly for 12 years to provide people with a place they can go to learn new skills.”
