Isle businesses are being offered free support to help them make the most of their use of the internet.
The Northern Lincolnshire Broadband Business Support team is offering the advice ahead of the introduction of superfast broadband across the region from 2014, which should allow businesses to grow through using the internet and digital services.
The qualified team will provide the best assistance possible for each individual small and medium businesses, ensuring that they get a one to one service that is adapted to their individual business needs.
They will be holding a roadshow that will tour around the region from September 16 to 20. It will be at Sandtoft Industrial Estate on Wednesday, September 18, from 9am to 12.30pm.
Councillor Neil Poole, cabinet member for policy and resources at North Lincolnshire Council, said; “The superfast broadband project in Northern Lincolnshire is well on the way now and it is essential that we make businesses aware of how the internet can make a real difference to their business development.
“There are so many different things that the internet can be used for. The Business Support Programme is the perfect way to tailor support to an individual business. We recognise that all businesses are different and will use the internet in different ways.
“If you think your business could benefit from the unique business support on offer then go along to one of the roadshow events and find out more.”
