THE case of a man charged with stabbing his fiancee has been adjourned.

Lee Rowlands, 36, has been charged with maliciously wounding Madi Moir and possessing cannabis just days before the couple were to find out if they had won a £25,000 wedding competition.

Miss Moir, who lived with Rowlands and her two young children in Hatfield Lane, Armthorpe, was being treated for stab wounds at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and has since been discharged.

Rowlands’ plea and case management hearing was adjourned today at Doncaster Crown Court and has been set for July 31.

No plea was entered.
