FIREFIGHTERS are tackling a blaze which has ripped through about 20 cars at a scrap yard in Conisbrough this morning.
Five fire engines and about 25 firefighters have been at the scene on Doncaster Road since about 4am.
There are no reports of any casualties.
A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said it was no yet known if the blaze had been started deliberately.
She said: “A full fire investigation will be carried out once the fire has been extinguished.”
