ARSONISTS set fire to wood which was close to a social club last night.

Firefighters from Edlington and Dearne were called to the blaze which started when a pile of wood was set alight in an out building at the Denaby Miners Welfare.

Crews spent nearly two hours putting out the fire which damaged the out building in Wadworth Street.
