STUDENTS at an Elsecar primary school got the chance to quiz the Bishop of Doncaster, the Right Reverend Peter Burrows during a special visit.

The bishop, chair of the Diocesan Board of Education, attended an assembly and answered pupils’ questions at Holy Trinity C of E Primary School.

He said: “I’m always fascinated and challenged by the questions the children come up with because in their innocence they sometimes ask the most profound things.”
