ANYONE with a love for hair and a flair for dancing will love Danum Academy’s current production of Hairspray.

A cast of 40 have spent months bringing the family favourite musical to the upper school stage.

Performing arts co-ordinator Emily Beggs is hugely impressed with the efforts of all of the teenagers involved.

She said: “We began rehearsing for Hairspray in February with a cast of 40. Pupils taking part have been an asset to the school with their commitment and professionalism and we are delighted to make this all-singing, all-dancing show a success.”

There is still a chance to see the show at 7pm tomorrow and Saturday night. Tickets cost £6 for adults and £4 for children.
