STAFF and patients put their best foot forward for a charity walk.

Doncaster Central MP Rosie Winterton joined 40 members from Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) for the walk from Balby’s Tickhill Road Hospital to the trust’s shop in Hall Gate.

It was part of Tony Russell’s nationwide walk in aid of Reflections Magazine and website, which showcases the creative talents of people who experience mental health problems.

Proceeds also went to Combat Stress - a charity which helps members of the Armed Forces who have suffered mental trauma.

In 1986 Tony walked 2,355 miles visiting every football league club to raise money for cancer research.
