STUDENTS were visited by authors who have compiled a book to help learning and development.
Kathy Beavers and Andrew Rea were invited to the University Centre Doncaster on Friday to speak about their edition called ‘Learning and Development Practice’.
The first edition, published in September 2010, is currently being revised for a second edition and students and ex-students from the Certificate in Learning and Development (CDLP) course at the School of Business and Management, based at the High Melton campus, were invited to meet the authors to help with research.
Students have been asked to look at the strengths of the current version, any potential gaps or development options and also how the book has informed practice. The group has also been asked to consider what they would like to see included over and above the current content. The first edition has been very well received by students, said a spokesman for the High Melton campus.
