AN appeal to raise £15,000 has been launched for treatment which could help prolong the life of a four-year-old boy with a crippling muscle-wasting disease.

Life-loving Ryan Golding, of New Rossington, has been diagnosed with a devastating form of muscular dystrophy which means he is unlikely to live beyond the age of 20.

His mum Zoeann wants to fly Ryan to Texas in the USA to buy a Vecttor machine which would help circulate oxygen in the youngster’s body and hugely improve his quality of life.
