The first burglary happened between 10.20pm on June 5 and 4.55am on June 6 in Ash Hill Crescent.

A number of items were stolen including keys to a Red VW Scirocco, which was also taken from the drive and has still not been found, and a bank card where an attempt was made to use it at an ATM machine at Tesco’s in Edenthorpe.

The second burglary happened in Mallard Chase between 10.30pm on June 14 and 5am on June 15.

Inspector Amanda Hunter from the Crime Management Unit said: “South Yorkshire Police take offences of burglary extremely seriously and we will do everything we can to prevent and detect burglaries.

“We would always advise people to keep their car keys and valuable items out of sight and away from windows and doors, to try and protect themselves from becoming a victim of this type of crime.”

If anyone can identify either man or has any information, they are asked to contact the police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
