A wave of holiday makers are being invited to Robin Hood Airport for an ocean odyssey spectacular.
The Doncaster Sheffield Airport will host its fifth annual Cruise Show on Saturday 14 May in conjunction with Thomson and First Choice retail, for those looking to find out more about the fly cruise programmes available from South Yorkshire.
Expert advice will be on offer for both experienced and first time cruisers from P&O Cruises, Shearings River Cruises, Fred Olsen Cruises, Norwegian Cruises, Thomson and Island cruise, Royal Caribbean cruises, MSC cruises and RIU Hotels about itineraries available from the airport to the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
Special discounted bookings will be available for passengers who book on the day as they sample the delights of a chocolate fountain, enjoy a glass of champagne and home baked cupcakes.
Kate Waiton, aviation sales manager for the Peels Airport Group, said: “Our fly-cruise programme is growing year on year, and we are expecting hundreds to attend this brilliant event, which will showcase all the varied holiday options available from the airport.
“We are always looking to add to the locations we reach and the passengers we can attract and are delighted to offer cruise goers from South Yorkshire the opportunity to experience cruise holidays directly from their local airport.”
The event will take place in the departure lounge at Robin Hood Airport from 9.30am to 3pm and parking costs of £2 apply.
As an extra special treat for Cruise Show visitors - why not take a look at the iconic, last flying Vulcan XH558 aircraft based at the airport throughout the summer.
