A GREEN-fingered group has been helping to spruce up the entrance area of Robin Hood Airport.
Volunteers from the Friends of Doncaster Sheffield Airport (FODSA) used funds given from the airport to buy and plant a range of plants and flowers outside the terminal entrance of the Finningley site.
Steve Gill, Robin Hood Airport director, said: “FODSA do some truly fantastic work and this is just the latest example. They have helped spruce up the airport and now the first thing both our departing and arriving passengers will see outside at the airport will be their beautiful creations.
“We’re incredibly grateful to FODSA for their hard work in helping give our passengers an uplifting start to their holiday.”
The group is a voluntary organisation which came together in 2005 to help with the airport’s development.
