Doncaster will remember lives lost during an air raid over Balby.
A memorial service will take place at Rosehill Chapel starting at 11am on Monday. It will be led by the Rev Canon Dr Paul Shackerley and attended by Peter Davies, mayor of Doncaster, and civic mayor, Coun Ken Knight.
The service has been organised by Doncaster Council and is an opportunity for members of the public to remember all those who lost their lives in the town as a result of the Second World War bombings 70-years-ago.
There will be a wreath laying ceremony as part of the service and again people are welcome to lay a wreath.
All are welcome.
