Air Ambulance scrambled after car ends up in ditch near Doncaster

Emergency services were called out this afternoon after a vehicle ended up in a ditch on a rural road near Doncaster.

Police, paramedics and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance helicopter were called out to the incident on Moor Lane near the junction with Low Levels Bank between Hatfield and Sandtoft at about 2.30pm.

A spokeswoman for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance confirmed “it was a road traffic collision” and that a car ended up “in a ditch.”

She added that their medical team was stood down from the incident.

No details were given about any injuries to the occupants.
