This is the mangled wreckage of two cars involved in a collision in South Yorkshire.

The vehicles were involved in a crash on the A1(M), near Skellow, Doncaster, yesterday afternoon.

A Yorkshire air ambulance flew to the crash scene, but South Yorkshire Police said those involved escaped with minor injuries.

The road was closed while vehicle recovery arrangements were made and inquiries were carried out at the scene.
