The headteacher and staff at Edlingtom Hill Top Primary School have been selected for a top role supporting schools in challenging circumstances.

Mrs Beryce Nixon is one of only 70 headteachers to be appointed to the role of National Leader of Education (NLE).

Mrs Nixon said: “I am delighted to have been chosen for the role of National Leader. It is a great personal honour and a huge accolade for the school. We are all looking forward to the development opportunities and the exciting challenges ahead”.
